DAY 1 | LIMA

Begin your incredible adventure at the international airport in the city of Lima, Perú. On your arrival, our team will be waiting to take you to your hotel in the Miraflores district of the city, which is without doubt one of the most attractive neighbourhoods, found in the Southern sector of Lima City. You can enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure to rest up or explore this first-class neighbourhood, with its friendly vibe, modern infrastructure and touristic and cultural attractions. Miraflores is found right on the Ocean front, overlooking the Pacific, with tree-lined, pedestrian walkways and sophisticated restaurants.

DAY 2 | LIMA – PARACAS 

We will depart in a regular bus to the bay of Paracas. We will then head to the Pisco Aerodrome to fly over the mysterious NAZCA Lines. The fly over will take approximately 1.40 hrs to witness these magnificent geoglyphs found etched into the desert landscape of the Nazca valley. Throughout the 500 km squared landscape, you can appreciate geometric figures such as the monkey, the hummingbird, whose origins are still unknown. But were thought to form part of an astronomic calendar. These impressive figures can only be observed from above. After the flyover we will return to Paracas where you will be dropped off at your hotel for the evening.

DAY 3 | PARACAS – LIMA

Early in the morning, we will enjoy a tour of the magnificent Ballestas Islands. You will be able to Marvel at the panoramic views across the Paracas Bay and the enigmatic figure of “EL CANDELABRO” etched into the sandy hillside and facing towards The Nazca Pampa. Next, we will head to the Ballestas Islands, a natural habitat for Pelicans, Humbolt Penguins, Inca Terns, Peruvian Boobies and numerous sea lions. 

  In the afternoon, we will head back to Lima on the exclusive “Paracas Premium Service” where you will be dropped off at your hotel for the evening.

DAY 4 | LIMA - CUSCO

Today you will be taken to the airport for the flight to Cusco. On arrival, you will then be taken to your hotel. You will have the resto of the day at leisure, to enjoy the facilities at the Hotel or if your flight times allow, you can enjoy an optional visit to the City of Cusco. 

“Visit the San Cristóbal Plaza to witness a panoramic view over the city or visit the San Pedro Market, where you can fill up on local flavours and learn all about the local products of the region. From the Artistic quarter of the city, San Blas, you can admire the work of local artisans as well as the world famous “12- angled-stone”

DAY 5 | CUSCO – VINICUNCA – CUSCO

Vinicunca, better known as The Rainbow Mountain, is a natural work of art standing at an elevation of 5.200 metres above sea-level. The different tones of this mountain are due to the accumulation of minerals deposited over time and elongated by the water, wind and humidity of this mountainous region. We will begin 

this adventure to The Rainbow Mountain, leaving early in the morning from Cusco, leaving between 4.00 - 4.30 am in the direction of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. We will then continue along the way to the starting point of the trek, where we will receive an informative briefing on behalf of the guide, to begin this incredible trek surrounded by stunning Andean scenery with the head of the mountain range, The magnificent Ausangate, considered one of the most important and sacred mountains of Cusco, by The Inca civilization. We will arrive at the foot of this impressive Rainbow Mountain in all its majestic glory and we will have a few minutes at the viewpoint of the mountain to take some awe-inspiring photos and have a well-earned rest. We will then begin our return trek to Phullawasipata to board our private transport which will take us to Cusipata for a delicious lunch. After lunch, we will begin our journey back to the city of Cusco, where we will drop you off at your hotel.

DAY 6 | CUSCO CITY TOUR AND THE LOCAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES

After breakfast at the pre-arranged time, you will enjoy a guided visit of this charming city, which was once The Inca capital. The tour will begin at The Santo Domingo Convent constructed on the Inca foundations of the Coricancha, one of the most important Inca temples, dedicated to sun worship. The ancient Spanish Chronicles states that the walls of this temple were plated in gold, covered with golden images of people and animals. We will then head to the Cathedral, the most imposing building found on the Plaza de Armas. Afterwards, we will visit the Cusco hills where we can find the Sacsayhuamán fortress, who´s imposing walls offer an impressive panoramic view over Cusco. We will then visit the Qenqo archaeological site, which was used for religious purposes and where it was though that the Incas performed sacrificial offerings for a prosperous agricultural year ahead. Our final visit will be to Puca Pucará, which translates to “strong red”, an archaeological complex used for military purposes, with different areas, plazas, baths, aqueducts and towers. Archaeologists believe the site was used for The Inca´s entourage, while the Inca himself, rested in Tambomachay. After the visit to these magnificent Inca sites, we will take you back to the hotel for the evening.

DAY 7 | CUSCO- MACHU PICCHU -CUSCO

At the pre-arranged time we will take our private car to the train station in Poroy or Ollantaytambo, depending on the time of year. We will ride through the Sacred Valley on our way to the one of The Seven Wonders of The World. On arrival to Aguas calientes, a member of our team will be waiting to take you to the bus that goes up to the site of Machu Picchu, and offering us a spectacular view of the river Urubamba that forms this famous canyon. The Lost City of The Incas, Machu Picchu, will receive us with its impressive terraces, Inca stairways and ceremonial sites. Embrace the energy emanating from this magical citadel. After our guided tour of Machu Picchu, we will enjoy lunch in one of the best restaurants in Aguas Calientes. At the indicated time we will return by train to the train station of Poroy or Ollantaytambo, where our transport will be waiting to take us to our Cusco hotel.

 DAY 8 | CUSCO - PUNO

At the pre-arranged time, our team will pass by your hotel to take you to the bus station. From here, we will take a bus to Puno, that stops at a number of interesting and historical archaeological sites along this scenic route. Our 1st stop will be Andahuaylillas, where we will visit the villages stunning chapel. We will then continue to Racchi, the temple of the “Wiracocha” deity, with its gigantic walls and surrounding scenic countryside. We will then reach the highest point between the Cusco and Puno regions called La Raya with its impressive views over the altiplano. We can then enjoy a lunch, before we continue along our way to Puno. Our final stop will be at Pucará where we can take the opportunity to buy the classic ceramic bulls which are typical of the region. We will finally arrive in Puno in in the afternoon.

DAY 9 | PUNO – LAKE TITICACA – UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS

After breakfast, our team will pass by your hotel at the pre-arranged time to take you to the port on Lake Titicaca. We will take the fast boat to the magnificent floating islands of Uros, for a tour of these unique floating islands made from the local totora reeds. We will enjoy the spectacular scenery of the highest navigable lake in the world as we sail to the remote Taquile Island. On arrival, we will have a guided tour of this stunning island, heading to the best viewpoints, where you can take the postcard-perfect photos of this magnificent lake. We will have lunch in a local restaurant on the island, where the delicious trout from the lake itself is the speciality of the day. We will then return to our boat to sail back to Puno, where we will have some free time to wander the small city and have dinner in one of the many restaurants in the city.

DAY 10 | JULIACA – LIMA 

After breakfast at the coordinated time, our team will pass by the hotel to take us to the Juliaca Airport to take our flight to the City of Lima. On arrival, you will be taken to the Lima hotel by our team, who will be waiting for you in Lima to take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will head out on a guided visit of the city. we will take a walk through the principal streets, plazas and Avenues. We will begin with the Parque del Amor in Miraflores, which offers fantastic views over the Pacific Ocean. We will then have a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial site from the Lima Culture and in San Isidro, the financial Centre of the city, we can appreciate The Huaca Huallamarca, an ancient pre-Inca site of worship. We will then head to the Plaza de Armas, where we will find the Government Municipal Palace Municipal, The Cathedral. We will then walk to the Santo Domingo Convent, who´s passageways were walked along by San Martín de Porras and Santa Rosa de Lima during the 17th Century and where their remains are to this day. We will then take you back to your hotel for the evening.

DAY 11 | LIMA 

Today, we will say goodbye to Peru and we will have breakfast and check-out, before we head out to the airport. Our team will be waiting to take you for your flight back home. We sincerely hope that you have passed some incredible days, full of adventure, new experiences and unforgettable times in Peru and that you return home with Peruvian souvenirs, a lot of photos and incredible anecdotes to tell on this journey to magical Peru.
