DAY 1 | LIMA
Begin your incredible adventure at the international airport in the city of Lima, Perú. On your arrival, our team will be waiting to take you to your hotel in the Miraflores district of the city, which is without doubt one of the most attractive neighbourhoods, found in the Southern sector of Lima City. You can enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure to rest up or explore this first-class neighbourhood, with its friendly vibe, modern infrastructure and touristic and cultural attractions. Miraflores is found right on the ocean front, overlooking the Pacific, with tree-lined, pedestrian walkways and sophisticated restaurants.

DAY 2 | LIMA TO CUSCO AND CITY TOUR WITH LOCAL RUINS
After breakfast in the hotel, we will collect you from your hotel at the pre-arranged time to take you to the Lima airport for your flight to Cusco. On arrival, our team will be waiting for you at the Cusco airport to help you and take you to your Cusco hotel, after which, you will enjoy a tour of this charming city that was once the capital of the Inca Empire. The tour will begin at The Santo Domingo Convent constructed on the Inca foundations of the Coricancha, one of the most important Inca temples, dedicated to sun worship. The ancient Spanish Chronicles states that the walls of this temple were plated in gold, covered with golden images of people and animals. We will then head to the Cathedral, the most imposing building found on the Plaza de Armas. Afterwards, we will visit the Cusco hills where we can find the Sacsayhuamán fortress, who´s imposing walls offer an impressive panoramic view over Cusco. We will then visit the Qenqo archaeological site, which was used for religious purposes and where it was though that the Incas performed sacrificial offerings for a prosperous agricultural year ahead. Our final visit will be to Puca Pucará, which translates to “strong red”, an archaeological complex used for military purposes, with different areas, plazas, baths, aqueducts and towers. Archaeologists believe the site was used for The Inca´s entourage, while the Inca himself, rested in Tambomachay. After the visit to these magnificent Inca sites, we will take you back to the historic center of Cusco.

DAY 3 | CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY
Breakfast at the hotel, at the coordinated time we will pick you up at the hotel. You will begin this great adventure by heading to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, along the route you will make some stops at viewpoints that will allow you to enjoy the beauty of the place, it is time to take unique and incredible photos. You will continue to Pisac Inca and Colonial. Visiting one of the most beautiful Inca archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley, at the top of the mountain overlooking the colonial town of Pisac. Walking tour of the colonial town. Time to shop at the craft market. The tour will then continue in Urubamba, where you will pause for lunch. Let's charge your batteries! In the afternoon you will visit the fabulous archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, important for the Incas as a military, religious and agricultural center. You will visit the Temple of the Ten Windows, the Ñusta baths, the Temple of the Sun among other places of interest. Postcards from the heights of Ollantaytambo will close this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

DAY 4 | SACRED VALLEY – MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
The most anticipated day has arrived, at the coordinated time you will be directed to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will depart by train to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. You will arrive at the Aguas Calientes station, where our staff will assist you to board the transport that will ascend an intricate path giving you a spectacular view of the Urubamba River that shapes the famous canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome you with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial enclosures and urban areas. The energy emanating from all over the place. After a guided tour, you will have lunch at one of the area restaurants. At the coordinated time, you will return by train to the Ollantaytambo station, where our transportation will be waiting to take you to the hotel in the historic center of Cusco.

DAY 5 | CUSCO - PUNO
At the pre-arranged time, our team will pass by your hotel to take you to the bus station. From here, we will take a bus to Puno, that stops at a number of interesting and historical archaeological sites along this scenic route. Our 1st stop will be Andahuaylillas, where we will visit the villages stunning chapel. We will then continue to Racchi, the temple of the “Wiracocha” deity, with its gigantic walls and surrounding scenic countryside. We will then reach the highest point between the Cusco and Puno regions called La Raya with its impressive views over the altiplano. We can then enjoy a lunch, before we continue along our way to Puno. Our final stop will be at Pucará where we can take the opportunity to buy the classic ceramic bulls which are typical of the region. We will finally arrive in Puno in in the afternoon.

DAY 6 | PUNO – LAKE TITICACA – UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS
After breakfast, our team will pass by your hotel at the pre-arranged time to take you to the port on Lake Titicaca. We will take the fast boat to the magnificent floating islands of Uros, for a tour of these unique floating islands made from the local totora reeds. We will enjoy the spectacular scenery of the highest navigable lake in the world as we sail to the remote Taquile Island. On arrival, we will have a guided tour of this stunning island, heading to the best viewpoints, where you can take the postcard-perfect photos of this magnificent lake. We will have lunch in a local restaurant on the island, where the delicious trout from the lake itself is the speciality of the day. We will then return to our boat to sail back to Puno, where we will have some free time to wander the small city and have dinner in one of the many restaurants in the city.

DAY 7 | JULIACA – LIMA
After breakfast at the coordinated time, our team will stop by the hotel to take us to the Juliaca Airport to take our flight to the City of Lima. Upon arrival, our team will take you to the hotel in Lima. In the afternoon we will take a guided tour of the city, we will take a walk through the main streets, squares and avenues. We will start at the Parque del Amor in Miraflores, which offers fantastic views over the Pacific Ocean. Then we will have a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial site of the Lima Culture and in San Isidro, the financial center of the city, we will be able to appreciate the Huaca Huallamarca, an ancient pre-Inca cult site. Then we will go to the Plaza de Armas, where we will find the Municipal Government Palace, The Cathedral. Then we will walk to the Convent of Santo Domingo, whose passageways were walked by San Martín de Porras and Santa Rosa de Lima during the 17th century and where their remains are found to this day. We will then take you back to your hotel for the night.

DAY 8 | LIMA
Today, we will say goodbye to Peru and we will have breakfast and check-out, before we head out to the airport. Our team will be waiting to take you for your flight back home. We sincerely hope that you have passed some incredible days, full of adventure, new experiences and unforgettable times in Peru and that you return home with Peruvian souvenirs, a lot of photos and incredible anecdotes to tell on this journey to magical Peru.
