Description
The adventure begins with the pick-up at your hotel in Cusco. On this half-day trip, you will have the opportunity to visit the 4 Inca temples, which are located within the city of Cusco, in addition to the majestic Coricancha (Temple of the Sun).
The first site to visit will be the Temple of Qenqo, a natural rock formation that became a ceremonial center, then you will visit Puca Pucara, a site of military ruins and the remains of Inca guard posts, stairs, streets, houses and patios.
You will continue to Sacsayhuaman, the site where it was created, it was a solar sanctuary built by the last dynasties of the Incas. This temple was built with large blocks of limestone to protect the city from the attacks of the invaders, you will continue with the visit to Tambomachay, located 9 kilometers from the city, known as the baths of the Incas due to the shape of its fountain of water. This site may also have been a temple dedicated to the cult of water and purification.
