While there, we will wander through some of South America’s best markets and discover a variety of Spanish and Inca heritage. On the trail to Machu Picchu, we ascend from the jungle to the snow capped Andean peaks to complete our spectacular approach to the Incan citadel. Travelling onto Lake Titicaca, we visit the Uros who live on floating reed islands and enjoy a night in a homestay on an island before returning to Lima.
Before the Tour, your guide will meet you at your hotel for an in-depth briefing. This provides an opportunity to ask question you may have.

Lima is a beautiful and historic city. Particular highlights are the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral (just a short walk away from the plaza, located in the Santo Domingo Church on the Plaza de la Vera Cruz) and San Francisco Convent. The Convent is one of the most visited religious buildings in the city due to its famous catacombs which hold the remains of around 70,000 people. We will also visit the Huaca Pucllana archaeological complex, another jewel in the cultural mix of the city.
